Mini Villa

Garforth Villa Football Club takes immense pride in our Mini Villa football training sessions. It's the starting point for many of our players, with numerous continuing to play for our club for over a decade!

Mini Villa offers exciting football training activities in Garforth every Sunday morning from 10am to 11am for children in Nursery, Reception, and Year One school ages.

Our sessions are designed for children to have fun, learn new skills, gain confidence and forge friendships. We boast excellent coaches who volunteer their time to deliver engaging football sessions, all overseen by FA Qualified Coaches.

Mini Villa is categorised into three groups based on school ages: Nursery, Reception, and Year One. The training is enjoyable and introduces progressive football skills weekly, adhering to our coaching philosophy. We organise our training activities into smaller groups to ensure they are suitable for the children's age and ability, providing an excellent introduction to football.

Mini Villa operates during the football season, which runs from September to May/June each year.

Start Up Date for 2025

We plan to start training for the 2025 season on Sunday 7th September 2025 at Garforth Academy on the 3G pitch from 9.30am until about 10.30am. If you wish to attend you must Register to Play. This will add you to the waiting list. We will be contacting people on the waiting list as space becomes available. You are unable to attend until you receive confirmation.

We are all volunteers. Rather than standing on the side line, why not get involved an help us? We're always on the lookout for parents to be involved to enhance our Mini Villa Team.
