Phased Return To Training

Updated: Aug 4, 2020

We are planning for a phased return to training in small groups of no more than 6 including the coach.

To ensure the safety of everyone, will split training into small groups consisting of no more than 6 and for the next few weeks we will keep the same group of kids and coach where possible.

Max group size would be 5 kids plus coach.

At the moment, there would be no physical contact whatsoever, so this means we cannot play small sided games yet.

We must all strictly adhere to the 2m social distancing rule.

Children must bring their own juice and keep this and their belonging away from others. No sharing of anything.

We will place some cones with their names on sufficiently apart where they can leave this. Alternatively they could leave belongings with their parent.

Parent must maintain social distancing and again, no groups larger than 6.

Everyone must bring their own hand sanitizer and use before and after training.

Equipment used will be limited and we will wash and sanitise after use.

To begin with we will mainly concentrate of fitness possibly incorporating some ball mastery skills. There shouldn’t be any need for a player to touch a football or equipment with their hands.

Please be reminded, if an individual is symptomatic, living in a household with a possible COVID-19 infection or if you're classified as extremely vulnerable on health grounds, the guidance is that you should remain at home.

A link to the FA website about the current rules can be found here. Please read and familiarise yourself with these. Please discuss with your child and ensure they fully understand what is required.

Thank you for your co-operation.
