COVID-19 & Suspension of Grassroots Football 😪

Dear Parents & Carers of Garforth Villa FC,

Firstly, we would like to wish all our Villa community a healthy and happy New Year.

As you are aware, it's been a strange and difficult time for Grassroots Football during Covid-19 and since the start of the season. The current position from the Government is that we are to suspend play and training until further notice. With this in mind, the Committee met on 8 January 2021 to discuss how we will proceed as a Club in terms of your subscription payments going forward.

The Committee has made the decision that subscription payments will be paused from January 2021 until further notice. This means that no further payments will be taken until we hear from the FA about when Grassroots Football can continue.

Those paying a monthly subscription need do nothing further, payments will stop automatically. Those that have made an Annual Payment will be contacted in due course with further information about a refund/credit note for next season.

Players who still have outstanding balances will be contacted shortly by our Subscription Manager Jane Sadler to discuss how these can be brought up-to-date.

We are, as a Club, frustrated by the pandemic and looking forward to getting football back up and running as soon as possible. In the meantime, please stay safe and feel free to contact the Club if you have any further questions.
